Savings Account

What is Savings Account?
  • A Savings Bank Account is designed to encourage individuals to save money for their future financial needs. The account’s main objective is to allow people to save small or large amounts of money periodically.
  • You can open a “Savings Bank Account” with DDSCBL Bank and enjoy a range of services and facilities without any additional charges.
  • Savings Deposit Rate: For end of day balance below Rs.50 Lakhs Deposit Rate: 3.00%
  • Senior citizens will get an additional interest rates of 0.50% P.A.
Eligibility
  • Saving bank account interest will be calculated on the daily balances maintained in the account.
  • Savings account can be opened in the name of an individual or in the name of two or more individuals. In the case of a Joint account, it can be operated jointly or severally, with either or survivor or former survivor clause.
  • The account can also be opened in the name of a minor, to be operated by the natural guardian.
  • The account can be opened by a club, a society, or an association.
Who can open a Savings Bank Account?
  • Individual – Single / Joint account.
  • Minor – Operated by a natural guardian/ appointed by the court.
  • Trust, Club, Association Society.
  • Housing Co-operative Society.
  • Charitable Religious Institution.

What is Current Account?

  • Open a “Current Account” with DDSCBL Bank , which comes with an array of services & facilities at no extra cost.
Eligibility
  • Current Account can be opened in the name of Individuals (except an illiterate, an undischarged solvent and a lunatic), sole proprietorship firm, partnership firms, private and public limited companies, HUFs, local body, club, society, associations, trusts, executors, administrators, liquidators etc.
